Bath House Cultural Center is pleased to welcome the Dallas Storytelling Guild as they present two different programs of shivery Hallowe’en fun, Ghost Tales at the Lake.
Join them as they celebrate that one night of the year when the veil dividing the living and the unliving opens and spirits of the dead are said to walk the earth. Dallas Storytelling Guild members share stories of the eerie and macabre for teens and adults, with each evening featuring different tellers and stories.
October 28: Maryann Clarke, Donna Lively, Ann Marie Newman, Leslie Buie, and Dan Gibson will be on hand to chill and thrill you.
October 31: Charles Williams, Tim Couch, Richard Nash, Gene and Peggy Helmick-Richardson will provide fright to delight you.
Members of the Dallas Storytelling Guild range from dedicated listeners to beginning storytellers to full-time professional storytellers. Their stories come from many cultures and include traditional folktales, family and personal stories, cowboy poetry, tall tales, and outright lies! Come and become entangled in the spidery webs they weave!
