Theatre Three Offering a  Nickel Ticket Special to "Woody Guthrie's American Song"

Theatre Three wants to support America’s working men and women during tough economic times. Accordingly, the theatre company in the Quadrangle in Dallas is offering tickets to any performance of its current production, Woody Guthrie’s American Song, for only $.05 to those who are currently unemployed due to the recent economic crisis. Texas Ballet Theater Dancer Lonnie Weeks, 18, Wins Silver Medal at Helsinki Competition

Lonnie Weeks, age 18, has won the Silver Medal in the Junior Division for his performances at the prestigious International Ballet Competition which was held in Helsinki, Finland. Mr. Weeks is a member of the Texas Ballet Theater’s permanent company.

Metropolitan Winds Pays Tribute to Film Music with Guests from the Turtle Creek Chorale

Metropolitan Winds will close its 2008–2009 season with Young, Anxious, Blazing Producers, a tribute to popular film music with special emphasis on the works of composers John Morris and Mel Brooks, at 7:30 PM on June 28, 2009 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. Members of the Turtle Creek Chorale will be among the special guests.
