Orpheus Chamber Singers invite you to join them as Darkness Falls.
Don’t let the title keep you away. This moving concert will include music that is tender, dramatic, thoughtful and just plain beautiful. Experience James MacMillan’s dramatic three-movement Cantos Sagrados and Leighton’s engaging cantata Crucifixus Pro Nobis, both of which will be performed with concert organist, Dr. Susan Ferre. Gesualdo’s luminous Tenebrae motets and the lush harmonies of Herbolsheimer and O’Regan will round out the program.
