The Makeover

Runway Theatre presents the world premiere of The Makeover, a thought-provoking new comedy by award winning playwright Patty Hester Daussat.
When reality TV invades her home and turns it upside down looking for a contestant for a life-changing makeover, Melanie Barnsworth unwittingly becomes reality TV’s next victim. She is middle-aged, overweight and, well, maybe she has let herself go. After her transformation, upon returning home, she begins to wonder what family, friends and the world actually think of her and how this experience has truly affected her. The Makeover is a light comedy dealing with the issues of marriage, reality television, and physical appearance.
This comedy is rated PG.
