Rover Dramawerks presents Mary’s Wedding, Stephen Massicotte’s first full-length play and the winner of the 2000 Alberta Playwriting Competition and the 2002 Betty Mitchell Award for Best New Play.
Set in Canada immediately before, during, and after World War I, Mary’s Wedding is a story of two young lovers told as flashbacks within a dream. Unbound by time, unabashedly romantic, and distinctly contemporary in theatrical style and setting, this beautiful love story has captivated countless theater audiences over the past few years. Once you see it, you will know precisely why.
