Teatro Dallas presents ¡Domingos Fantásticos! La Máscara que Hablaba by Costa Rican author and poet Alfredo Cardona Peña, adapted for the stage by Cora Cardona .

This story explores how greed and a lust for power can lead a person to overlook the needs and wellbeing of others. A powerful king, whose weakness is gifts, receives his favorite gift of all: a magical mask that talks. The arrival of the talkative mask sets into motion a chain of events that allow the king to see the damage he has done; and it presents him with a challenge and a chance to change his ways.

Don’t miss it! Librettos available for regular audiences; the play is also available for schools who may require their students to read it in English before attending the Spanish production.
