Teatro Dallas welcomes Teatro Profesional de Lara to their 13th International Theatre Festival as they perform The Open Couple by Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo.

Antonia’s husband suddenly announces that he wants their relationship to be non-exclusive. Traumatized, Antonia decides to commit suicide. But then she realizes … the new rules mean that she can play the field, too! Soon enough, she latches on to a devastatingly handsome and much younger songwriter who’s also been nominated for a Nobel Prize in physics. How will her macho husband react to this new arrangement? Although Fo’s incisive script provides a laugh a minute, the play is not merely a comedy. As is so often typical of any open relationship, disaster proves to be lurking around every corner.
