Shakespeare Dallas launches its annual Shakespeare in the Park festival with a production of one of the Bard’s most searing tragedies, directed by Raphael Perry.

Othello tells the story of what happens when the noble Othello’s love – and his devout wife’s purity – succumb to the machinations of the sinister Iago. From the elaborate setting of Carnivale to the barren isle of Cyprus, Shakespeare’s powerful drama of uncontrolled human emotion captivates audiences with jealousy, treachery, murder and love.
