Shakespeare Dallas presents a staged reading of Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s The Rivals, directed by Chris McMurtry.
For the first time ever, Shakespeare Dallas explores Shakespeare’s influence on the classical playwrights that followed him. The Rivals is a raucous restoration comedy complete with mistaken identities and hilarious malapropisms to show the ridiculous lengths people will go to in pursuit of a lover.
