Lyric Stage opens its 15th Season with an American musical classic, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel.

Of all their outstanding collaborations – including The King and I and The Sound of Music – Carousel was Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II’s personal favorite. TIME Magazine agrees with them, proclaiming Carousel the Number One musical of the twentieth century! “If I Loved You,” “June is Bustin’ Out All Over,” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone” are just three of the songs in this glorious score.
