The Pillowman

Friday September 12, 2008 - Saturday October 11, 2008
Rated: PG-13

Kitchen Dog Theater launches its 2008–2009 season with the Dallas premiere of Martin McDonagh’s award winning black comedy, The Pillowman.

It’s an astonishing story of fairy tales gone horrifically and hilariously awry. A writer of horror stories sits, blindfolded, in a bleak interrogation room, waiting to be questioned by the police for reasons he doesn’t understand. Part Kafka, part Brothers Grimm, The Pillowman is a gripping, funny, and shocking rollercoaster ride of a play, filled with unexpected turns and a truly startling resolution which will leave you thinking for days. Winner of the Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play and the Olivier Award.

Contains strong language and depictions of violence – NOT recommended for young children.

Admission:

  • $30.00 – September 12 opening night
  • $25.00 – Saturday nights
  • $20.00 – Friday nights
  • $15.00 – Wednesday and Thursday nights & Sunday matinees
