Irving Symphony Orchestra has been uniquely distinguished as one of only two Texas symphonies selected by the League of American Orchestras to premiere Chasing Light…, a new contemporary composition by leading American composer Joseph Schwantner.
The evening will likewise feature Peabody Conservatory faculty cellist Amit Peled, one of the youngest and fastest rising cellists in the United States performing Symphony No. 41 Jupiter by Mozart and Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in B Minor by Dvorak.
