Dallas Children’s Theater presents Lois Lowry’s story of The Giver, adapted for thestage by Eric Coble.
A Newbery Medal classic and unanimous favorite among students and educators alike, this innovative and provocative fantasy presents a deeply moving argument between balancing the values of freedom and security. The world looks perfect and everything seems under control, but when Jonas turns twelve, he is selected to be the next Receiver of Memory. What will he do when he learns the truth?
This production will be most enjoyed by youth, teens, and adults.
