A  Streetcar Named Desire

Thursday August 07, 2008 - Sunday September 07, 2008
Rated: PG-13

Contemporary Theatre of Dallas presents Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize winning drama, A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by René Moreno.

This powerful classic tells the story of Blanche DuBois, a delusion-prone alcoholic who flees her scandalous past and lost ancestral plantation to seek refuge with her sister Stella in working-class New Orleans. But Blanche’s feminine wiles are no match for the cunning and brutality of her brother-in-law Stanley Kowalski, who won’t let Blanche’s secrets stay buried back in Mississippi.

This show is rated PG-13 for adult language and mature themes.

Admission: $22.00 – $32.00

There will be a pay-what-you-can preview on Thursday, August 7 at 7:30 p.m.
