The Ghost Sonata

Thursday July 17, 2008 - Friday August 08, 2008
Rated: NR

Bath House Cultural Center is pleased to welcome The Drama Club’s production of August Strindberg’s The Ghost Sonata, directed by Jeffrey Schmidt.

This series of short, simple dramas (often called “Chamber Plays”) invites audiences to experience the lasts gasps of a high plains pioneer town. This visually startling depiction by seven talented artists includes a student who ravels to the brink of death and a vengeful, manipulative old man whose reproachful life is inextricably bound to the town’s other citizens.

Admission:

  • $16.00 – Fridays and Saturdays (8 PM)
  • $12.00 – Wednesdays and Thursdays (8 PM)
  • $12.00 – All 2 PM and 5 PM matinees

Note: This play is being produced as part of the 2008 Festival of Independent Theatres, a ten-play festival running July 17 through August 9 at the Bath House Cultural Center. 2 weeks passes are available for $49.00, and 4 week passes are available for $69.00.

Tickets: Please call 214.528.5576.
