Level Ground Arts presents a brand new production of the first “All Singing! All Dancing! All Flesh Eating!” musical stage play, Cannibal! The Musical, written by Trey Parker, the co-creator of South Park. Financially, 2009 has proven to be a very difficult year for the Cultural and Performing Arts across the United States. In North Texas, several organizations have been forced to shut their doors, and others have found themselves with dramatically curtailed budgets. Texas Ballet Theater is no exception. TBT Artistic Director Ben Stevenson’s annual production of The Nutcracker will be performed in both Dallas and Fort Worth this year without live musical accompaniment. Teatro Dallas will conduct its Annual Membership Drive by throwing a party for Edgar Allan Poe on December 5, 2009, at 8:00 PM. Attendees will be treated to stage adaptations of 3 of Poe’s most macabre works, as well as Mr. Poe’s favorite red wine and hors d’ouveres.
